Its called making money. Every single free to play game has restrictions, but you just don't know it. The stuff they restrict isn't even that big of deal. Even when I was subscribed I barely used some of the restricted stuff. Other things like xp are normal for F2P players, but subscribers gain slightly extra. The only thing that might mean anything is not being able to create a third character, but really a sith and a republic character is all you really need. Even if you do have more characters and you are not subscribed you can still use all of them which is great. The market system actually makes the game way better and most of the things you buy you can keep. The game is only $15 right now and same with subscriptions which is pretty sweet not to mention that they probably won't charge for big expansions/ updates.

Star Wars The Old Republic is now free to play, which is awesome. It would be awesome if anyone would like to join me on The Harbringer server.
