New Rules & Admins

So, all the admins had a quick meeting today and the new motd is as follows.

* No racism, antisemitism or ethnic slurs under any circumstances.
* No advertising (Other Servers, Clan or Game Server Websites)
* No disguisting/grotesque sprays.
* No Micspam. (Holding down speak or playing music)
* No trolling/douchebaggery.
* No glitching maps or cheating.
* No cheating the store credit system. (AFK Spinning, etc.)
* By pressing OK on MotD, you agree to follow these rules!
* Remember, it is a privilege not a right to play here.

Our new admin addition is [NotD] Rivahrat who had come back after a short absence and still deserves his adminship.

Also, on a side note. I would like to say what will be changing in the community as of today.

*No admins will enforce rules that are not in the MotD. (EX. Making up rules on the fly)
*More lenient on the micspam. If your annoying though, you will be muted, kicked or banned.

This is all for the better good and I'm sure you all will agree.

Could "Be respectful to ALL players" be added to the motd
Also, on the 'No Racism, antisemitism, etc.' could there be a 'No sexism' added? It seems like it has been a problem in the past for some of our female members and players, and while I know that it is a given, I know that somebody will always do it and argue its not in the rules if its not there.

I agree the no sexism should may be added in there, but the respect all players falls more under the no trolling/douchebaggery now like Doc said.

I don't really understand this.  I've never seen anyone make up a rule on the fly; an example, please? :[  And wouldn't then telling people to respect other players now be considered making up a rule? I can hear the argument already...  No douchebaggery, I can see how it can fall under that, but still... It's kind of broad in my opinion.  I'd just like to be clear on it so I understand.

And uh... what happened to no camping where the zombies can't reach you?  Or is that still on zhell's motd? xD

I think on certain maps we need a '10 seconds no kill rule' e.g Smee and games similar because it's annoying getting spawn killed...
And I'm guessing 'Admins say is final' is still a rule

sexism is to be expected to some point. when it turns into sexual harassment it will fall under doucherbaggery.

respect all players, well the very nature of competition generates a certain amount of trash talking. trolling and douchebaggery can cover the rest.

making up rules on the fly. means like spawn killing and shooting vents. to avoid these things on mini games get the heck out of spawn and dont camp vents if you dont want to get shot.

the camping where zombies cant reach is always a rule, delaying game play is douchebaggery.

we are not here to control the servers but merely get them back on track when they get out of control.

players get loud players get rude players get crazy. its all part of the fun. mic spamming and douchybaggery can cover it when it gest out of control. music spamming is easy put up a vote.

for racism, i am a hard-nose. the only thing i say is "Not in this server!" they argue i kick sometimes mute. after that i ban. if they have been warned by the server i ban.
