Junior Adminship Program

Hello fellow NotD,

It has come time to finally grow NotD's admin team by introducing a new member program called "Junior Adminship Program". This program will allow NotD members to be selected by admins for junior adminship and help assist senior admins in daily duties. The members that are selected will be given a more limited version of admin. Those who are worthy for a senior and lead admin status will receive it.

Q: How will I be chosen?
A: Each admin is given one member to be chosen for junior adminship, you will be chosen based on qualifications rather than favoritism.

Q: Can anyone become admin?
A: Only NotD members are able to be selected for adminship.

Q: Are you going to chose a junior admin, l0calh0st?
A: No I will not, haha. Too much of a hassle for me.

Q: Do junior admins get to recruit?
A: No, junior admins cannot recruit.

I think this is a great idea imho this will help not only the admins but the servers whoever thought of this is a genius Local if you thought of this, your a genius :3

I believe this will benefit the clan/community in many ways :3

lol no.. junior admins do not recruit.. junior admins do not have ban either.. they can slap / kick / mute but not ban..

Yeah, like Lespy said, but it's a good way to start so we admin get a chance to see how well you do with those things, and then you can get moved to a regular admin if responsible, and then you can have those privileges.

This has been done in NotD before, and it caused as many problems as it solved..


Without the ability to ban, rule breakers kept rejoining the server, and sometimes organized attacks where admins would have trouble keeping up with them. It caused a significant amount of strain on the full admins trying to deal with disputes from both the junior admins trying to enforce rules and rule breakers claiming it was random acts of admin abuse that were the problem.


Those of you that think "favoritism" is a problem now have no idea what's just around the corner...

QUESTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!! uhh (btw im not saying that i will get junior adminZZZZZZZZ) but i dont want it if i has to take the R off... that will NEVA HAPPEN... RECRUITS FTW ( or REJECTS FTW ) *according to SORROW* so basically does one has to take the R off IFFFFFFF BY SOME MIRACLE... yea you get the question im asking... i hope... and i dont mean to sound cocky or anything just asking O_O

Either way Knuckle i would think since you've been here for awhile you would have the advantages of being able to keep it on yet be a junior admin <-- i would think anyway

Ok I'll answer some of these questions, no there is no special tag for jr admins. On the fact that you would have to remove your R knuckle, I would say you might have to since we don't want people thinking that they can join and become jr admins rightaway as a recruit. It looks more professional.

We admin will pick people we are confident in their judgments, and action so if people want to cry admin abuse it will do nothing UNLESS they have proof of this (screenshots, or demos). The lead admin that makes them a Jr. admin will also be held accountable for their actions as well, so they will be keeping an eye on them since the can get in just as much trouble if they abuse. Also I'm sure if there is an major issue Local can look in the logs to see what they were doing too(if necessary). Second, they may not be able to ban people, but it's better than nothing what they do get, and if the person keeps come back they just report them like normal, and we take care of it just the same as if a member reports them. Just because there are going to be Jr. admin doesn't mean that we admin won't be around just the same. They will be held to the same standards as the other admin, and believe me if they ever want full admin they won't screw around, and play as you say "favoritism" toward people. There admin can be taken away just as fast as it given if they can't handle it like expected.

i have to agree with this and with what death had to say. yes not having certain "powers" can cause trouble makers to come back but now we dont have to wait for like 10 min tryin to get a admin on to the server (or waiting to make a ban report). and favoritism i believe will be a big problem with all the junior adminships. but thats the reason why they are only junior cuz imagin if they were giving full power at once? this junior adminship is just to get to know how people can deal with there power. then if they can "handle" being admin they might get promoted to full or lead
