ok so my teacher was out for the day and we had a sub!! i was like woo hoO!! buuuut then i saw her >.>  she was one of those old lady's that look like mean people. But i didn't judge right away i sat in my seat and did my bell-ringer(morning work) and i was chewing gum. My real teacher allows us to chew gum in class and so i was chewing gum. The Sub. came up to me and just stared at me with a verry fucking weird look. i was like "ummm, HAI" lol and my friend next to me laughed......she did not, she was like"go spit out your gum!!' and i replied verry calmly and nice" but out teacher lets us chew gum " she then decided to give up right away and right me up for insubordination...... i now have ISS aaaand detention for a week......for chewing fucking gum >.> thanks Miss P your so fucking awesome, i hate this bitch soo much, oh and want to hear something amazing? we have her next week....

should have just spit out the gum. not all teachers allow it. it is difficult to be a sub unless you just do nothing. but if you actually want to fallow the teachers lesson plan it is hard to do.

Agree. It wasn't the same teacher, they have diffrent rules, also I have a few classes were I can chew gum but when its a sub and he/she tells you to spit it out you should because this sub doesn't know if you can or cannot, so don't blame it all on them, your just as guilty, there just trying to go the safe way and not take any chances since the person could be lieing. But for the punishment I think it was a bit harsh.

Yeah that's exactly what I would have done, walked over to trash can and spit it out right quick as to send her on her way and not cause a disruption in front everyone. And, her being a sub she is in and out of alot of different classes so she has to deal with lots of different temperaments from lots of different students.

In my opinion, teaching is definately underappreciated as a whole. Give them big raises all around 

With that said, you gotta try hard not to add-on to your detention Beebo seeing as how she's gonna be around for awhile longer.

That takes me back to high school days. I did it this to be cool, and well I was known as the asshole and still am, but back in 9th grade and our teacher "Sant Pree" a male was on leave for the day due to a flue. So in exchange we had a substitute teacher in place, a female. So when she came in the class and introduced herself, I stood up and said, "WHERES YOUR NUTS!, SANT PREE! YOU LOOK LIKE YOU HAD A SEX CHANGE", I was lucky enough to not get any consequence for what I said. I think she was more so in shock that any student would out-right say such a thing. But then later, I started bugging the sub, blowing her kisses and doing the impression of eating out a woman and I was suspended for a week. lol... Principle said to me as I walked into the office "This is not a shocker your here." I was a striate A student but such a moron...
