IT IS MUCH CHEAPER TO BUILD A COMPUTER YOURSELF, using newegg or fry's than to go with any manufacturer or other custom build site such as ibuypower. you also get more for your money and the parts are usually cheaper/better.

as far as alien ware goes the only thing they have half ass decent is their new netbook

I would have to say that Alienwares are fine laptops, just not desktops. It is not viable enough to buy an expensive desktop when you can do it yourself. When it comes to laptops though, you can't really build one, thats where Alienware comes in. But I usually find better deals on laptops better than most alienwares and sometimes Alienware has nice deals. Its all relative.

Just put in the 5850 so much better, I think that old 9500 was dying computer refused to boot earlier till i took it out so upgrade came just in time ;|

this is my 2 year old comp, it b good? i know how to put a comp together but i dont know whats considered good nowadays. cost 780 dollars cause i built it.
