Back on topic? o.O

I use an Intel processor right now.
Next year, after my conf, I'll upgrade the processor, motherboard, gpu, cpu, get some more fans for my case and woullaah, a better computer than I have now.

Yes, I'm going to buy an AMD processor. That's why I am upgrading my motherboard cause AMD and Intel does not use same sockets ._.

Firstly, Intel is overfuckinpriced.
AMD is a lot cheaper and a lot better too, as told of the ones who bought an AMD processor.. They loved it.

Intel is over priced and a price to speed ratio amd will beat you... but keep that baby on ice bro because they do not withstand heat no where near what intel can do.

I saw a youtube video once where they tested intel vs amd, and the last test was overheating...

they took the heatsink+fan off of the processor in like 8 seconds the pc with the amd powered down...
the intel played in-game(think it was doom or UT) for like 16 minutes and then they finally cut it off.

You have all the gaming acumen and skill of a diseased river otter
pumped up on morphine and hung upside down in a vat of grape jelly. Try a new hobby.

It really depends on what your usage is.

Back 5 years ago, AMD dominated Intel in the gaming industry, but with Intel's new and advanced upgrades, they have overcome AMD and shown far more superior in gaming.
But with that said, AMD is still the better "Server" processor.

That's what craps a lot of ppl out in the amd vs intel. They over heat they shit because they arent like lespy or kotton taking time to find stable temps and power in overclocking. They just wanna have more  umph w/o realizing they gonna cook they pc like turkey on thanksgiving D:

Gaming now= Leaning more on AMD not much more though. Only b/c they released the 6 core cpu.
Servers= I have used both Intel Xeon and AMD Opteron. I would lean on Amd actually. Since it is really good when it comes to using virtualization platforms.

AMD all the way, AMD has there head on straight and they now for the money there products hit the nail on the head, most AMD cpus run pretty cool compared to my stress testing and overclocking them to there highest potential. Thats why i run a tuniq 120 tower extreme heatsink. so that i can push the limits and laugh at the price i payed for my setup compared to someone running intel. i get equal performance to a intel core I7 quad core cpu, and i payed half of the price compared to what i payed for my phenom 2 thurban hexacore 1055t running 1.45v at 3.8ghz. oh did i mention i get better performance in things that are multi-threaded? that too!

in gaming your cpu only matters so much though, so if you want a great gaming rig buy a tri core amd cpu and a better gfx card!

@kotton, i will never go with water cooling, something about a liquid near my valuable pc components just doesn't make sense to me. ill stick with big air thank you very much, cheaper, less hassle, less worry.

Idk water cooling doesnt really bother me as long as the setup is made properly and you maintain it. Thing i dont like about air is the build up you can get from any pets or ppl like me that smoke xD
