Hey, I JUST started recording my own music. I play guitar. It's all done with my 15 dollar microphone used for gaming, and some cheap recording software. I just started this so it's kinda rough in spots, and I don't sing so no lyrics... all instrumental.

The best ones are the ones that I used my 12 string on. Alot of people like those (Prelude and Catastrophe). For You Malice is a Lamb Of God song that I covered the intro on. The quality is really crappy but if you like heavier stuff that one is for you. Then Prelude part 2 is a demo I just did that I plan on putting together with the original Prelude

Cool, Ill definetly check this out asap. Music is a wonderful thing with much technicality and science involved. Next time you see a piano player, stop, listen, and watch him play. Look specifically at his fingers and feet. There is so much going on so quickly that it's hard to keep track of. People will practice seamless hours to have the appearance of playing effortlessly.

Same here. I actually take my headset and curve the mic into the soundhole on my acustic 12 string. It's a cheap headset but the sound quality when I do that is very good. Then I have some cheap editing/recording software and I will add a little reverb or chorus. It doesn't sound half bad

Looks like Im gonna have to show you guys up with my beastly saxophone skills. I'll record myself playing a song named American Feeling. It's jazz, and written by an Italian composer named Ilio Volante. XD Yeah boi, I got this!

I'll play it on my tenor sax, and If I can figure out how, I'll play it on my alto also, and combine the files and it'll sound amazing.
