On your servers, and ONLY on your servers...I get kicked often for no vac communication

any thoughts guys, has anyone else run into this?

does it say you time out? or does it actually say you have no VAC connection?

Well ive been kicked from the same reason but what I think does it is when you have no connection in your steams friends list. Not sure how it happens but it happens to me everytime it says no connection to steam friends.

I don't believe that to be iot, because I have had that happen to me recently in other servers and I do not get kicked for it, it is just the NotD servers :(

This has happened to me the new steam beside the hl2.exe crashing. I think it's a steam issue. It's just weird timing that it happens in ou servers.

I allways have this happen to me!!!!! I GET IT ALL THE TIME!!!!! I ALWAYS GET KIKED WEN IM HAVING FUN AND THEN IT TELLS ME THAT MY VAC IS SOMETHING, i dont remember what it says though. But im allways getting kiked kuz my VAC and im getting ANGRY!!!!!!!

It does it to prevent pirated CS:S copies from accessing servers.

haven't really had it lately...last night everyone was having trouble with the zhell server...though it seems unrelated.

Joining the server would cause hl2.exe to crash out...over and over.

I know myself, Famous, Bunnie, and Got_shot were having the problem as well as others playing the server.

When your client crashes and your not doing anything that may cause it, it's usually map related then. The map clashes with your graphics card outputting some nasty errors thus forcing a crash of your client.

It's odd for a default css map to do that though, but nevertheless, it could happen on any map.
Try updating your graphics card or think about getting a new one.

Heres the fix

Close Down Steam

Open Folder:
C:\Program Files\Steam

Delete:
ClientRegistry.blob

Now Restart steam and reconnect to the server


This resets the steam information. Just make sure before you do it, you know your steam account password.
