I can't play ZH anymore :(

Ever since the update, I haven't been able to play on the Zombie Hell server... I can connect and everything but it's almost like horrific lag the entire time, although my ping is usually around 70.  It shows > 60 fps but it plays like it's just a couple frames per second.

I frequently get hl2 errors, which I hardly ever get on other servers (even the NotD MG server) and 3 or 4 times I've gotten this:


I've already restarted, cleared all DAT files from downloads... Help??

Have u recently updated the firmware on ur router? If so try this to fix the problem:
Make sure you Disable UPnP
Disable "Block wan request"
Enable "filter NAT redirection"

If that doesn't work try messing with ur rates.

ok ... u have to re install css ,, some how ..one of files got jacked,,

try resetting router,
if not delete all .blob and .dll files in the steam folder
thats all i can think of sorry

Hl2 Errors may be caused from missing skins/textures. I reccomend installing the ZH skin package if you haven't. For your lagg issue, I just reccomend reinstalling overnight or something.

I reset router, deleted BLOB files, increased rate, updaterate and cmdrate, steam updated... then connected and it looked laggy at first but it totally worked out.  Not sure which fix did it, but thanks to everyone who posted so quick

hahaha I totally realized that as I was deleting the blob files while my router restarted... but then I decided to just do everything at once so everyone could feel like they helped lol  ...the whole firing squad with one bullet idea.  Although I do think I know what did it.
