it's basicly joe lieberman's ''internet killswitch'' bill re-written ...but the words ''anti-terrorism'' are just replaced with the words ''anti-piracy''

according to an article i just read ... 18 senators have withdrawn support of PIPA because of yesterday's blackout...it stated that SOPA wont be going to a vote since the whitehouse said they oppose it...this doesnt mean it's over tho .. PIPA goes up for a vote the 24th...with 33 for and 36 against at the moment ... we need 51 against to outright kill it...or 40 if there's a filibuster ... but the blackout yesterday definitely got some attention

Finally things are heading in the right direction... I knew that they couldnt ignore the almighty power of teh interwebz!
