I think there needs to be a rule set in place:
Meet in the middle when the music stops.
its kind of Unofficial, but i think there should be an official one.
its a good map, but alot of people complain about it, myself including.
Alot of people just go around the map when the music stops not even looking or shooting at the opposing team.
I have played this map where we only played 2 rounds because of such.
I think it ruins the fun for others, especially when they die within the first 20 secs trying to get into the secret.

Or we could just simply remove the map. Even tho i love the map, i would not be against this.

I say put some rules in there, but most definitely do not delete it, it's very fun for people who're not 2 minutes in spawn or spawn camping.

lol i think i came up with the idea of meeting in the middle....cause i usually die in the beginning and got tired of waiting while a couple of ppl kept going in circles and circles and circles. but yeah it should be a rule. i like flying around and round.

yea Los i agree you were the first one i heard with that rule and i kinda just stuck with it. I say make it official kind of like the rules we have for speed domination

i asked people if they minded knifing it out in the middle almost 2 weeks ago. they didnt listen and it was not a voted on rule all i could do was suggest. i think what we have done in the past is vote and talk in admin chat 1st.

can u guys mod the map so its like speed dom for example and teleports the people to the middle i know several ppl have brought it up ingame b4 just like at 5:30 on the map every1 gets teleported to the middle and just say no run away

In order to do that, I think the map would have to be completely re-compiled to include that feature.

I know that im willing to do ANYTHING to not waste others time and make the map more efficient by playing the max rounds.....if im last i usually kill myself or i go to the middle and tell the opposing team where i am.

But i think if an admin is on when its pushcircle, they should put up a vote (unless another admin is on) "meet in the middle when music stops?"

and dependin on the outcome.....they meet in the middle or they dont.
i know a rule of the server is "do not delay the game" but it seems like when it comes to pushcircle, that rule kinda goes on the backburner.

and Juhler, the map would have to be remade for that to happen i think.

Unfortunately rules like these are very difficult to enforce since the only way it can work is if the whole server listened, and usually there will always be someone breaking the rule causing more to do the same. It would just cause confusion.

Remaking a map would take time and wouldn't you have to talk to the creator before doing so?

so it would jsut be better removing it and then adding new maps to mix it up

you might be able to decompile it and edit the new parts in, but you would still want to talk to the creator first. I don't think it needs removing though, because if only 2 or 3 people are left, then everyone else can easily start the rtv process

Just make it a rule, there will be a lot more rounds and less complaining .

Music stops=Go to the middle.

seems pretty simple if you ask me.

There are rules are all NotD servers, and specific rules for specific maps (such as speed domination).
if someone breaks the rule, they get warned, then either kicked or banned depending on how the admin is feeling.
