I have to add to this topic. The word in reality is no worse then any other word, in that it relates to a group? of people that were not well liked by most countrys, but that being said, does not make it bad or wrong, and for the most part is unliked by a few here. being a biker in the 60s, 70s and some even now wear a swastika, and im sure it wouldnt fly on notd, but i may be wrong. the reasons it was worn so much was for shock value, not because of them liking the nazi's, and most were people that fought them in the war.
I believe its all in the presentation, and in this case, having it in the name is not a bad thing, yet calling someone one, or using it to try to harm someone is a whole different case. We also have that issue about the dreaded "N" word, whis is used in my area or the country more then almost any word now days. Here, again, its how its used that makes the difference, and i do believe thats part of the problem that we keep getting people using it here that are new to this site. Its a word thats rampent in schools here, and is accepted, yet if i had a rebel flag, im sure something would be said about it in my area. It all comes down to abiding to others rules, and when your in someone elses house (notd) you abide by there rules as a sign of respect. Its not just about whether its against the law, or whether something is politicly correct, its about respecting others and there feelings and beliefs. If you want to test how you feel about this kind of topic and the law, look up the westborough babtist church and the storys and videos of what they do, and how there looked upon and whats legal.
It only takes a second to show someone how you feel about them.
The police call it indecent exposure, but whatever.....
