Ah the reminders of high-school... back when I was a teen at I think 16, I was sent into the hall-way for calling the teacher "Mam" when clearly he had a penis...  So stood in the hall-way for almost an hour waiting for "Mam" to give me some lecture on bullshit I would just roll my eyes about. Didn't look like that was going to be the case from knocking on the door and getting no response. So I was like fuck it, I got better things to do like, go home and play on the computer, masturbate, whatever. So I walk into the door, and right away the teacher puts his hands on me and physically push's me out of the room, warned him, do it again and something will happen. His response was "Like what?". And push's me again.... So, I gave him a fat lip.

Suspended and had to change schools!  My mom, thought I was funny... lol

And oh! FUCK YOUR FACE!

for some reason I find it easier at 21 years of age to relate to the poor teacher dealing with kids that need an asswhooping all day than to relate to the indignant teenagers. Even though im closer to the teenagers in age.
You may not like them but they probably dont like you either. They have to follow stupid rules from their asshole bosses, and then have to deal with 100-200 kids a day, most of whom treat them like shit. They dont get paid very much, yet they have to show up everyday to work so that they can pay their bills. Think of how it feels to be made fun of, teachers have to take that shit from ignorant children all day

It's in my opinion as good as a fact that the job of being a teacher nowadays is severely underestimated (and needs way more respect ... eventually they are the ones forming the future).

Before i started to study to become a teacher i figured it be a rather easy, relaxed & a fun job (still think it's fun) ...

After a few try-outs on school where i could give class i quickly realised that there is alot more work to being a teacher than just stand in front of a class for a few hours per day ... The preparations for each class take a whole lot of work.
Don't forget that every teacher has to see a set amount of curriculum every year. This means that they have to make the students work and learn at a certain speed ... and that is ***** hard, cuz students are surprisingly slow and often uninterested  (you'd be amazed how slow it sometimes goes).
(fyi ... i'm right in the middle of such a try-out right now ... and u might've noticed i've barely been in the servers ... that is because i'm working my ass off to prepare everything so my classes will be fun & go smooth.)

if you then are teaching and have put 5+ hours into preparing everything just so it'd be a fun class for the students and they just say "meh I don't care I'll just pick my nose for 50 minutes" ... Well i guess you can imagine that doesn't really give you a happy feeling ... -.-'

To get back to the start topic ... As a teacher it is only normal that eventually you start to care about your students and their decisions ...

if you have to see day after day how there are students in your classes which are fucking geniuses (by figure of speech) but they don't study to their capability's and therefor are heading for a lowerclass degree ... it's frustrating and you want to give them a wake-up call ...
and since the youth nowadays is really unrespectful, you often have to nearly shock them before they even get close to realizing what they are doing.

Anyways I have no idea what exactly happened so I ain't gonna say either of you were wrong ... just started typing and ended up with this ^

The Asst. Principal calls you stupid for dropping honors level to go to regular level classes?
How dare he! By the way it is stupid.  Honor level classes will better prepare you for the hard work of future education (college perhaps?), the job training required with any career you choose in the future and just the day to day continued learning in life.
How dare this Asst. Principal sit behind a desk and do minimal work. After working through school as a student (at least through undergraduate/ Bachelors in Education, if not a masters degree), then becoming a teacher in a classroom for several years and now to sit there behind a desk and make descent money to do that 'easy' job? A job of dealing with personnel issues, student issues, attending meetings after hours taking away from family and private life, physical facility issues, more student issues, organizing and getting authorized the use of the building for after hours events, ensuring the the safety of 'all' students through the continued review and update of response plans, bla bla bla....
But then all jobs look easy from the outside...... mine does.
But I agree with you on one point, once you've earned the position of Asst. Principal, you can do it for half his salary. I'm sure the school board would be more than happy to pay a qualified candidate (you?) half what the job's budgeted salary is.

Good luck, I wouldn't want to be teacher for anything.... ::)

haha that thar is tongue in cheek.............................^

I'm going to get up in a minute and walk out of here. That guy in corner behind me, will follow. You follow him. I will follow you. Remember! I've trained for this kind of follow-thing my whole life. So don't fuck it up!!
