in the past year i've been here i've lost many friends in notd due to whatever personal reasons. you can dislike them if you will but we're not in their shoes and we really don't know all the reasons they quit. even if they left a suicide note the answers are not all there.  we just have to let them go and move on....i miss death and he left with his reasons and that's that.  any drama that any of you wanna start cause of emotions/personal reasons take them up with the person you're talkin about, drop it cause this shit is going nowhere but bad.  death has not posted anything else so let him go. i'll miss his insight, but he has his own life to live not yours. peace death u will be missed.  the hating must stop i've seen it before and nothing good comes from it.

Before this turns into eight pages of "NO U SHUT UP", I'd just like to remind people that asking people to avoid a subject does not in any way change or enhance that subject. It only serves to send the topic into a sort of purgatory where everyone constantly posts solutions, and nothing ever seems to get accomplished.


No matter what side of a debate or argument people may be on, writing paragraphs or small essays on why everyone needs to get back on topic will never get things back on topic. If people really want to do that, then they need to ignore others whom may have clashing opinions, and discuss the original topic as if their posts never existed.

Not to say the others aren't, but they kinda have mixed levels of each. Your kid is adorable, and I'm glad you decided to focus on life instead of gaming. That was REALLY unnecessary and hypocritical. The admins avoid locking the topic despite what petty drama may be going on so people could say their peace, and in walks Mr.GooGle saying that no one else should be allowed to say their peace as he says his. Why have freedom of speech for some and not for others? Just because people don't like the fact that others didn't have as good of an experience as themselves doesn't mean their views of the person leaving are any less valid. It makes no sense to lock a topic just because people like Mr.GooGle are causing drama by demanding the topic be locked.

ALSO: Why the hell would someone demand censorship in a public forum if they swore never to read or post anywhere near it ever again?!

all of this drama started because of the statement I made over how death left the forums. I made that statement because nowhere else on the forums was that information posted and I felt the community had a right to know. I did not think that creating a new topic over that issue was appropriate.
I also asked for the statement to not start drama, but it has. So lets all move forward from here and let this thread quietly return to its original purpose.

Google wasn't "demanding" anything, he was requesting it be locked.  The point of which being there is constantly a new post and the thread is getting old.  We all loved Death and it's nice to say goodbye, but at the same time this thread is a sad reminder of a lost friend and isn't being allowed to die because every few days there is a new post.  That's all.  No reason to jump on anyone. :3

People are free to say their goodbyes as they always have been.  So in agreement with GotShot, let's just let people do that if they wish.

?WwT? Crazy here, and although I'm not a member of the NotD clan, I am a part of your clan's community.

I just wanted to say a few things to Death (I doubt he'll read this) but here goes.

It was fun playing with you and mainly rushing with you into zombie spawns only to get owned. Truth is when I started playing on NotD servers about a year or so ago, you were one of the first people I interacted with. You didn't really talk to much, neither did I, but we would just play zombie hell and have fun. I stopped playing CSS for a while and when I come back I see you are very involved with the happenings of NotD. And this is where your downfall probably happened. You see, I was just like you in my clan ?WwT? a while ago. I've been playing their zombiemod server for years, and was a member of the clan for a year in about 2008. Then I got more responsibilities, and in no time I was running the server, similar to what you were doing, but in a larger scale. I found myself less barricading and killing zombies and more on FTP and forums maintaining the server. I got so sick of it I barely played that server even though everybody in that community loves me because I kept their server running for two years. The point that I'm trying to get across is that you strayed from what this is supposed to be, fun. I discourage anybody from making the mistake I made and dealing with more duties. It can become tedious and ruin something that is so great. I know you have left because of happenings among you and your peers. But that's something that also comes with the added responsibility, more people coming to you. Pretty much what I'm trying to say is stick to having fun. I respect you for leaving because it isn't something you enjoyed anymore. Twas fun while it lasted, hope your future endeavors only bring great things.
