DBZ is an anime.  Boondocks is not an anime. It is a cartoon.

The Boondocks is not an anime. To my knowledge, it was made in the US and doesn't necessarily copy the same style that you'd see for anime. If you want to get technical, it's ALMOST drawn like an anime, but it just an average cartoon.
