My First Good Poem

So, Weizz showed me a poem he wrote and He inspired me to write one of my own. I normally suck at writing poetry but I tried my hardest and heres what I came up with :D Hope you like it

My Heart has been broken so many times,
It once was whole and filled with hope.
The ones I loved filled It with lies,
Now it feels patched up and I cannot cope.

I sealed it away inside my chest,
To hide it from the pain of Tomorrow.
I thought it would be for the best,
But it made all of my feeling become borrowed.

Now I realize I should let it free,
To find happiness and maybe bliss.
I'll find someone just like me,
And my pain will fade which I'll never miss...

I actually had a few published back in the day.
Here was a goofy one that is still on the web.

The rocks have teeth I do believe
As I've been bitten once or twice
Betrayed by stone is not so strange
For their heart is that of ice.

Where are those warm rocks that I search
I've heard some have been found
I'll find one soon that I am sure
If I can just get my head above ground.

awesome work minnie!!! enjoyed reading it same for you scooby, see its things like this that make me want to get back into poetry and i might just do that since its been years since ive written ANYTHING anyways

Everybody can write poems just think of something you like the most in the whole world and let the thoughts flow out on the paper or computer  ;)
